Sentinel-1 - Level-2 - Radiometrically Terrain Corrected (RTC) 2025-06
The Sentinel-1 Level-2 RTC product consists of SAR backscatter values normalized with respect to topography, derived from GRD data. Pixel values are therefore provided as gamma-0 power (0). The product is analysis-ready, meaning that geometric and radiometric distortions inherent to SAR side-looking acquisition have already been corrected. The data are projected in the WGS 84 geographic coordinate system (EPSG:4326) and distributed in Cloud-Optimized GeoTIFF (COG) format. The pixel size is the same as that of the original GRD product. For example, for images acquired in IW (high-resolution) and EW (medium-resolution) modes, the pixel size is 10 m and 40 m, respectively.
