GOSAT-GW/AMSR3 L1A Antenna Temperature Count

GOSAT-GW/AMSR3 L1A Antenna Temperature Count dataset is obtained from the AMSR3 sensor onboard GOSAT-GW and produced by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).GOSAT-GW was launched by the H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 50 (H-IIA 50) at 01:33 a.m. on Jun 29th, 2025 (Japan Standard Time, JST). GOSAT-GW equipped with AMSR3 takes measurements at multiple microwave frequencies and multiple polarizations of weak electromagnetic waves in the microwave band radiated from the Earth’s surface and the atmosphere. AMSR3 has swath of 1535 km and 11 microwave bands. The observation data will enable the creation of long-term trustworthy data sets of global physical amount.Level 1 products are the antenna temperature count value (L1A) or the Brightness Temperature (L1B, L1R, L1C and L1H).This product includes sensor observatrion counts. Level 1A product stores the antenna temperature count value converted by the radiometric and geometric correction processing from Level 0 data, the antenna temperature conversion coefficients, etc. It also stores geometric information such as longitute, latitude, land/sea flag and altitude within pixel area. The provided format is NetCDF4. The current version of the product is Version 01A. The generation unit is scene (defined as a half orbit). The sampling resolution is 5-50 km.
