Land Surface Phenology 2023-present (raster 300 m), global, yearly - version 1-

Land Surface Phenology describes vegetation changes observed from satellite remote sensing and constitutes therefore an aggregate signal from heterogeneous surface conditions that may not be representative of any single plant species response (Kimball 2014). LPS indicates the timing, date of occurrence, and corresponding value of the vegetation index used, of key phases of the vegetation development cycle; in particular, phenological metrics related to the start, end of growing season, length of the season and maximum development, seasonal total and partly integrals (as productivity parameters), as well as growth and senescence rated, intra-annual coefficient of variation, etc. are provided.
