  "description": "The NISAR Beta Geocoded Polarimetric Covariance (GCOV) product contains radar covariance matrix elements derived from the NISAR L-band (and S-band) Synthetic Aperture Radar measurements. The product provides geocoded, multi-looked covariance terms (e.g. HHHH, HVHV) projected onto a geographic reference frame at 20-metre pixel spacing, suitable for land-surface and vegetation monitoring applications.\n\nEach GCOV product corresponds to a single NISAR pass over a predefined frame. The Copernicus global 30 m (GLO-30) Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is used for topographic correction. The primary data file is provided in HDF5 format, with Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF (COG) sidecars for selected covariance terms to facilitate web-based visualization.\n\nThis is a beta product. The NISAR mission is a joint project of NASA and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).",
