The CAP formatted product is only disseminated when a fire/potential fire is detected in any given repeat cycle.Please note, the MSG SEVIRI instrument presents some limitations when using it for fire detection, and this could lead in a underestimation of pixel with actual fire. This underestimation can be caused by:- The â\u0080\u009cfire channelâ\u0080\u009d of SEVIRI (IR3.9) being up to 5 K colder than a â\u0080\u009ccleanâ\u0080\u009d channel due to CO2 absorption.- The
