<dc:description>GOSAT-GW/AMSR3 L1R Brightness Temperature dataset is obtained from the AMSR3 sensor onboard GOSAT-GW and produced by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).GOSAT-GW was launched by the H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 50 (H-IIA 50) at 01:33 a.m. on Jun 29th, 2025 (Japan Standard Time, JST). GOSAT-GW equipped with AMSR3 takes measurements at multiple microwave frequencies and multiple polarizations of weak electromagnetic waves in the microwave band radiated from the Earth’s surface and the atmosphere. AMSR3 has swath of 1535 km and 11 microwave bands. The observation data will enable the creation of long-term trustworthy data sets of global physical amount.Level 1 products are the antenna temperature count value (L1A) or the Brightness Temperature (L1B, L1R, L1C and L1H).This product includes resampled brightness tempearture. Level 1R product stores the brightness temperature that is spatially resampled from Level 1B to match the center position of the FOV of each frequency band at each pixel. Resampling takes place by overlaying the original brightness temperature data with weighted parameters (resampling coefficients) calculated using the Backus-Gilbert Method. The center latitude and longitude of data is adjusted to the 89 GHz A channel receiver data. The provided format is NetCDF4. The current version of the product is Version 01A. The physical quantity unit is Kelvin. The generation unit is scene (defined as a half orbit). The sampling resolution is 5-50 km.</dc:description>
