3WW global product consists of globally gridded and 2-day time-averaged wind vector information in at 25 km x 25 km and 12.5 km x 12.5 km global grid spacing generated from the Ku-band Pencil Beam Scatterometer (SCAT-3) on EOS-06 (Oceansat-3) satellite. These wind measurements are useful for operational applications like weather forecasting, cyclogenesis prediction, and climate research.
