<dc:description>EOS6 OCM3 Sensor in Local Area Coverage (LAC) Mode provides Indian subcontinent coverage at 360m spatial resolution in 2 days in 13 visible to NIR wavelengths with a swath of ~ 1500 km over the Indian subcontinent. This 1500km X 1500 km Product quantifies the Aerosol Optical Depth/Thickness at 870nm which represents the amount of atmospheric aerosols (solid or liquid particles like dust, smoke, or pollution) that attenuate sunlight by scattering and absorption in a vertical column of the atmosphere. These products are useful in atmospheric correction of other geo-physical data products &amp; study of climate effects of atmospheric aerosols.</dc:description>
